Our intimate wedding venue offers accommodations for up to 16 guests for 2+ nights, with space to host around 100 guests for your ceremony and reception. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or a lively celebration, we provide a unique, all-inclusive experience in the mountains. Our 2 night package is $10500 for a weekend during peak season. With no vendor restrictions, you have the freedom to design your day exactly how you envision it. We also provide a list of trusted local vendors to help bring your vision to life. Three options for ceremony sites (mountains, aspen + mountains, evergreen forest) and 3 Arches to choose from, 7 Fire Pits, 4 hammocks, tree swing, picnic tables, dog run, yard games, photo shoot area by the barn, outdoor sitting areas. Gorgeous photo opportunities throughout estate including the aspen grove. Small parking lot for 50+ additional cars.
4 glamping wall tents:
comfortable queen bed with bedding, table, space heater, deck, firepit, hammock.
Community amenities include: outdoor private shower and sink, port-a-potty, historic amenities cabin with kitchenette including kitchen sink, coffee station, microwave, mini-fridge, area guide books, extra sleeping mats, grill, outdoor seating, large community fire pit, dog pen. 2 parking spot per unit.
Expand your retreat with a late check-out (5 pm for an extra $500) or an extra night or two (for $1500/night). Enjoy relaxing, floating or fishing at the Eleven Mile Canyon or Platte River, Garden of the Gods or Cripple Creek casinos, the towns of Divide, Florissant, Manitou Springs, or Woodland Park's shopping and dining. There is a gas station, markets, bars, and restaurants close by. Plus extra guests can book lodging just minutes away with Airbnbs, VRBO or local motels. Booked couples will receive a comprehensive list of things to do in the area!
Stephanie Scoville has dedicated 16 years to nurturing and expanding Idlewild Ridge Ranch, creating a space where cherished memories are made with family, friends, brides and grooms, the local community, and various organizations. With the support of her strong network, she has fostered an environment of warmth and connection at the ranch.
In addition to her work at Idlewild, Stephanie brings over 40 years of expertise in a wide range of fields, including residential real estate, estate sales, retail management, events, creative services, and Airbnb hosting across Colorado and Kansas. For the past six years, she has proudly maintained a 5-Star Superhost status on Airbnb with six listings.
In 2022, Stephanie officially launched Idlewild Ridge Ranch as a premier wedding venue, co-founding the venture alongside her family, who collectively bring deep expertise in event planning, real estate development, tourism, construction and remodeling, marketing, client services, and entrepreneurship.
Her vision for Idlewild is to offer couples and their families a unique, intimate setting for unforgettable gatherings. The venue encourages creativity in planning, immersing guests in the area’s rich history and natural beauty, all while creating lasting memories.
Susannah's entrepreneurial drive and business acumen are rooted in her upbringing, inspired by her mother, Stephanie. With over 25 years of experience in founding businesses, launching new ventures, and serving clients across diverse industries, Susannah has honed her ability to create lasting success. Now based in Denver, CO, she specializes as a holistic business development coach, helping both emerging and scaling companies thrive. Her approach combines fresh insights, sustainable systems, and innovative strategies to navigate today’s ever-changing market. Passionate about human-first business practices, Susannah champions collaboration, transparency, and meaningful, authentic communication in every aspect of her work.
Justin brings a wealth of experience to our team, with decades of expertise spanning new construction, remodeling, master plumbing, real estate development, and solar energy projects. His career has also taken him to unique and challenging environments, including multiple seasons in Antarctica and various global locations. With the creative vision of a designer, the precision of a scientist, the artistry of an engineer, and the technical prowess of a mechanical expert, Justin crafts innovative, sustainable, and stunning projects.
